Zion Lutheran Church of Iowa City is looking for a Minister of Pastoral Care. Duties include bi-weekly hospital coverage, shared with Senior Pastor and lay volunteers. Bringing Holy Communion to those that are homebound or in retirement communities on a every three-month cycle, as well as work with lay volunteers for additional Holy Communion visits. Documentation for tracking of visits and pastoral care needs to be shared with Senior Pastor. We envision this to be a 12-15 hours per month commitment.
