SUMMARY:Contemplative Prayer Group
DESCRIPTION:As a response to General Synod’s resolution on becoming Contemplatives in Action\, this prayer group offers space and insight to the contemplative life. We will learn a variety of contemplative practices and embrace silence together as we take time for the Holy Spirit to work in and through us.\n\n\n\n\nThe group will meet weekly on Monday mornings at 8:00am CT for six weeks starting on September 19th and going through October 24th. All of our sessions will be hosted on Zoom except for the October 10th session because we’ll be at Joint Annual Meeting (JAM)! If you are attending JAM in Sioux City\, IA\, join us at the Contemplative Prayer Group table for breakfast on Monday morning.\n\nThe event is free and is open to clergy\, Members in Discernment\, and christian educators in the UCC. You will receive the Zoom information after registering. Please register ahead of time for the Contemplative Prayer Group because the number of people per session helps us plan for our time together. Questions about the event? Contact Rev. Miller. Questions about registration? Contact Aidan Spencer.
