Webinars for Congregational Well-Being: Congregational Discernment
March 30, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm UTC+0
Free
As congregations, we find ourselves at a crossroads sometimes; when a pastor leaves, when numbers dwindle, when “the way we’ve always done it” no longer works. When we encounter these times, we are invited, as people of faith, to discern our next faithful steps. Often we make quick and logical decisions without doing the slow work of faithful discernment. If you are wondering what’s next for your congregation, consider attending this webinar to learn what discernment is and how you can practice it together with your congregation.
The webinar will be cohosted by ACM Rev. Kendy Miller and Rev. Dr. Renee Jackson, Minister for Ministerial Formation with the national setting. The webinar will be held on March 30th from 6:00 – 7:30pm CT and is free and open to congregational leaders and pastors in our UCC Conferences. Please register to let us know that you’re coming!
This webinar is part of a series of four webinars focused on congregational well-being. The others will happen in June, September and November (more details coming later!). If someone from your congregation is present at all four of the webinars (doesn’t have to be the same person every time) your congregation will receive a package of Conference swag!
