Welcome to the Conference
The South Dakota Conference is a place that inspires folk to be their authentic best selves while loving selflessly for the greater good. We as a conference strive for impartial equity and human dignity, recognizing the value of inclusion and relationship. We intentionally restore broken connections through opportunities of expressing hurt, making confessions and seeking forgiveness while offering resources of support on a consistent basis.
How is the South Dakota Conference responding to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic?
Ministers’ Moments: A Space for Authentic Conversation About Ministry
Are you an actively serving authorized minister or lay pastor? On the first Tuesday of the month at 12:00pm CT you can join a Zoom call to connect with your Ministerial Staff and fellow clergy through a book study! These are public, non-confidential conversations for our active church leaders to check in and hold each other in a peaceful space, ask questions, and pray together in the midst of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. In June we will be starting Atlas of the Heart by Brene Brown.
Clergy Coffee Hour
A program partnered with Ministers’ Moments, Clergy Coffee Hour is a time for clergy in our Conferences to connect and visit via Zoom on the first Thursday of the month at 12:00pm CT. Sessions will be hosted by ACM Rev. Kendy Miller. All Clergy in our Conferences are welcome to join the Zoom call.

Come and enjoy the natural beauty and relax at Placerville Camp. This incredible United Church of Christ facility, located by Rapid Creek on leased Black Hills National Forest land, has been providing a place of retreat for more than 90 years. Rapid Creek flows by with great Trout fishing. Pactola Lake, which provides great swimming, fishing and boating, is only 6 miles from camp. Outdoor ministries provide a time away from the ordinariness of our lives, so that we might open ourselves to the extraordinary presence of God.
