The national setting recently sent out a message about their updated mailing address for receiving payments (this was also included in our last eNews). This has caused some confusion for church leaders about where to send gifts from congregations. Here’s some information we hope will help clarify the situation:
- Congregations should send their OCWM and UCC related gifts (Neighbors in Need, Strengthen the Church, Christmas Fund, One Great Hour of Sharing, and special mission gifts for disaster relief, and others) TO THE CONFERENCE OFFICE. It will get recorded and passed along as appropriate. And,
- The national office updated their address for conferences to mail their pass-through funds and contributions as well as for individuals who support the national UCC directly.
