Lectionary Discussion Group-Worship Planning Retreat

An event every month that begins at 9:00 am on day Last of the month, repeating until August 1, 2024
If you preach using the Revised Common Lectionary, enjoy scheduled time with colleagues to plan your themes, music, liturgy, etc. The days include reading the Scriptures aloud, having time to individually work on your worship service for that week and then sharing your ideas with the group, sparking conversation and raising questions about the texts. Some people use the time to select hymns, others to briefly outline their sermons or capture themes, and others to get the creative juices flowing for a series. Working ahead frees up time during the week, give this planning group a try!
Each session will be held on Zoom on the last Wednesday of the month and will begin at 9:00AM (CST and finish by 11:30AM (CST).
