Rooted and Grounded in Love: Leaders of Extravagant Welcome and Justice
This is a difficult time for all of us as we get out of our comfort zones, find new ways to connect, ask hard questions, experience overwhelming loneliness and fear, and mourn the loss of loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Rooted and Grounded in Love: Leaders of Extravagant Welcome and Justice” is a space to lift up and give thanks for leaders in our conferences who are leading with love and safety amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. Spiritual leaders have an important role in navigating these new and often frightening circumstances: we look to them to provide stability, comfort, guidance, and connection through it all. Today and all days we give thanks for the dedication, flexibility, and resilience of the clergy in our conferences who are keeping us rooted and grounded in love.
