Siblings, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do : forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God to Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3 :13-14)
Dear Friends of the Iowa Nebraska South Dakota Conferences of the United Church of Christ !
As I reflect on my first full year as your Conference Minister, I marvel at the welcoming I recieved wherever I went and feel much gratitude this past year. There was so much that I experienced by being present, listening, and learning from y’all which will serve me well in the new year. I take Paul’s words to heart…that there is so much we need to leave in the past…and so much we can strive together in Christ going forward and that is what I plan to do my friends in 2026 and beyond. I can only do so with the help of God and with your continuing support. I invite you to feel free to reach out to me or the Conferences to share the joys of your ministries and the opportunities on how we can better improve our spreading the liberating gospel and good news of Jesus Christ to the communities we live in for a Just World for All.
Thank you for your prayers and grâce ! May the blessings of the new year be upon you and your loved ones, always in Jesus’ Name.
