VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers are an essential part of what makes an event successful and run smoothly.  To make JAM 2026 the best yet we NEED YOU!  We have several Volunteer Opportunities available.

Youth Program/Childcare

If you would like to volunteer with youth programs/childcare a Background Check Form is required to be completed and submitted.  Please find the link to the form below:

Greeters/Registration

Are you a people person? Do you like to make sure things are in order?  Are you a helper?  Then volunteering to Welcome and/or Register folks coming to JAM would be an ideal thing for you.

Meals

We are looking for volunteers who are able to assist with setup, serving, distribution, and cleanup of the meals provided at JAM.

Informational/Directional Support

We are looking for volunteers who would be able to help attendees navigate and locate activities within our host churches – First Congregational and Spirit of Peace UCC.  If you are a member of these churches or are familiar with the “goings on at JAM” then this would be a great volunteer opportunity for you.

Set-Up, Resetting, and Clean-Up

Hosting and putting on a large event takes many hands and some labor.  Volunteers to assist our host churches with event setup, support throughout JAM, and resetting spaces for Sunday worship services will help make this event successful.  If you aren’t afraid or are able to do some lifting, moving, etc. we would love to have your help.

Tech Support

We want to make sure those that aren’t able to join us in person for JAM can still attend their respective conferences Annual Meeting via Zoom.  Support to our Technical and Communication Committee is vital to make these run smoothly.  If you find yourself to be “technical” and familiar with Zoom we would love your help in set up and operation of Zoom during Annual Meetings.
