Transgender Day of Visibility Service

March 31st is International Transgender Day of Visibility – a day to celebrate trans and non-binary people and raise awareness of the discrimination faced by trans people locally and worldwide. Join Ames United Church of Christ on April 2 at 2:00pm for a special service of support, love, and celebration for the transgender and non-binary members of our community. No matter your faith, no matter your beliefs, no matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome to attend.

Ames United Church of Christ has been open and affirming of that LGBTQIA+ community since 2000. “”We covenant to be a community that remains open to the challenges of the Christian faith.
